Welcome to Inspired by Stamping’s last release of 2016! We are so happy you are here. This week Inspired by Stamping is releasing 3 new stamp sets to their store. All new products are already available in the store! You can visit us by clicking here!

Here are my cards created for this hop! I used the Garden Roses Stamp Set  This is a new favorite for me as the sentiments can be used year round.

Simple and elegant, I masked the white card stock and stamped the rose in black, Then on watercolor paper heat embossed the entire rose and water colored. Fuzzy cut that and adhered with foam adhesive. Finished off with heat embossed sentiment.

Heat embossed the bud of the rose on water color paper, stamping it multiple times. Then added random assortment of colors on the paper. Using dies, I made a window and finished off with clear sequins.

Hummingbirds by Inspired By Stamping

Hello there! Crystal here from www.crystalthompson.net with my second post on the blog as your September Design Team member!

Today I am showcasing a card I made featuring the Hummingbirds & Fresh Bouquet stamp set.

So let’s get started!
I began by trimming my water color paper to fit on my card base, next using WOW gold glitter embossing powder I stamped the flowers from the Hummingbirds set all around the card.

Next on a separate piece of watercolor paper, I heat embossed the hummingbird and water colored that as well and fuzzy cut it. To add some contrast, using a black piece of card stock, I embossed the sentiment from Fresh Bouquet stamp set.

Using foam adhesive the hummingbird was added on top of the black paper ribbon and this card is all done!

It turned out quite elegant yet festive.

Supplies used:
Hummingbirds Stamp Set
Fresh Bouquet Stamp Set
Gold embossing powder
Watercolor Paper
Black card stock

Strawberry Jude September Release!

Hello there friends! Crystal here from www.crystalthompson .net with a card made using the newest release from Strawberry Jude Stamps.

Don’t forget Fall Icons!

This card was pretty simple to make, I selected two types of patterned paper and trimmed accordingly so they’d fit at an angle.

Next, using the second piece of patterned paper I used that as the “ribbon”.

Then using foam adhesive, placed down the pumpkin and leaves from the set. There were stamped on a separate sheet of paper, stamped, colored with copics then fuzzy cut.

This is a great layout to use any of your planner stamps on cards.

Thanks for stopping by!

Fresh Bouquet Set by Inspired By Stamping

Hello there! Crystal here from www.crystalthompson.net with my first post as your September Design Team member!

Today I am showcasing a set of cards I made featuring the Fresh Bouquet stamp set.

So let’s get started!

Since I knew I was making two cards, using my MISTI I stamped the flower images onto some Ninna white paper using archival ink. Once that was dried, using my water based ink pad, I water colored the flower bouquets. One in pink, and the other in blue. While those dried, using some basic dies I die cut the patterned paper that looks like wood. Then heat embossed my sentiments in glossy black.

Next, I fuzzy cut the flowers and adhered them to the card base with foam adhesive to give them dimension. Finished off by adding some water droplets.

I am sending one of these to my in-laws as they are having an anniversary, and the other one will go to my “nursing home” pile.

Supplies used:

Fresh Bouquet Stamp Set
Black card stock
Wood grain patterned paper
Black embossing powder

I enjoyed making these, hope like them too!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi there Strawberry Jude Stamps fans! Crystal here with my first post as your design team member. Today I have a card featuring my favorite set from the August release, Jack O'Layers!

Next, I trimmed a piece of kraft card stock as my base, layered with leaves patterned paper and placed a brown card stock on top. I placed my felt leaves at the bottom, then added a yellow checkered paper. I adhered the pumpkin with 3D foam, then placed my die cut "thanks" sentiment.
To finish it off, glossy accents was added to the die cut.

This one turned out so cute, and ready for fall.
Supplies used:

SJS Jack O'Layers
White, brown and kraft card stock,
Felt leaves
Echo Park Paper Pad in "Fall is in the air"
Glossy accents
Thanks die

I hope you like the card, and come by again soon!

Golden Blooms

Hi Honey bees, Crystal here on this beautiful Wednesday with a bit of a different sympathy card for a friend. I wanted to create a something elegant yet sympathetic.

DSC_0107

First I trimmed a base of black card stock, then I proceeded to heat emboss in gold the prayers sentiment from the HB Prayers stamp set. Once that was all set, I heat embossed the flowers from Country Blooms on the base. While I waited for that to cool, I heat embossed another set of flowers from Country Bloom set on another piece of black card stock.

DSC_0106

Using gold watercolors, I colored the inside of each flower. Once that was dry I cut them out and adhered them to the base with foam adhesive.
DSC_0101 To finish this off, I added Honey Bee dew drops on the edges of the flowers.

DSC_0108

I thought the way this layout turned out was elegant, and placed the sentiment as the main focus.
